Whatever type of website you have, you undoubtedly want search engine traffic. It is through targeted search engine traffic that people make money online and those that know how to get it have one leg up on the rest. Affiliate marketing is the business of referring others to a product or service. If someone is referred through a link on your website, you will usually get a small "finders fee". The more people you can get to click your link and sign up, the more money you stand to make. Putting up a website used to be a challenge but now days with easy blog platforms, getting your site up is the easy part. The hard part is getting the traffic to your site so that it can make money. One of the ways you must go about getting that traffic is by getting as many incoming links to your website as possible. These link, if they are properly anchored, tell Google what your site is about and help push it toward the top. So many people just build their sites and then sit and wait for traffic to come to them never understanding that much more work needs to me done to be successful. Getting incoming links to your website can be done in many ways but one way is to write an article like this one. The links at the bottom will help identify my site to Google and the other search engines and do a small part in pushing it nearer the top.
