Any marketer knows that there list of customers, leads and referrals is the holy grail of any marketing strategy. With out a list there is no marketing campaign. There will be no joint ventures and there might be no bread and butter on the table. If you are not building a list you are not building a business. The best way to capture a lead is to offer a free e-book, news letter or special report on your landing or squeeze page of your web-site or blog. Most, if not all, network marketing corporations only give you a generic business web-site to sell there widgets gadgets and to enroll your prospects. Some that I have seen can be a bit confusing as well with what I would consider with to much clutter or to many options. Corporations set these sites up to try to offer everything and the kitchen sink to boot. This is a big mistake in my opinion. When your site has a catalog of widgets to sell, your prospective customer will become confused from all the different options. So now, it is your responsibility to remove the confusion. To do this you will want to send your prospect to your site and not your companies site. The best way to beat the corporate clutter so to speak is to create a landing page with an irresistible offer. Anyone that has been on the internet for a day has probably surf across a site that was offering a free report, e-book or white paper. I suggest that you contact your sponsor or up-line and see if there is a free offer that you can give away. If not, then create your own or give away a product that your business sells. The way to capture your leads this way is to have a sign up form at the top of your sales page. This form can be as simple as a lead giving you there name and email address. If you are offering a free product, then name, email address, home address and possibly a phone number. Then the contacts information will zip over to your auto responder, will send the offer and capture the lead. Or it could be both. Your landing page needs to be a one page list building machine.
