Simply put we are everything business and much more! You will find that what started as a digital magazine is making the transformation into a complete online business community with many different valuable resources.In the simplest terms, we look to provide as many resources as possible to help businesses improve their chances of success, while exposing their companies/products to a larger consumer market through our site traffic.  But let me personally take a minute to breakdown some of the key functions the new site currently and will have in the near future.

Subscriptions- While we will charge a small fee for some aspects of our subscription service, most business owners will find that it is 100% tax deductable since it is a business service. Among many other things you will receive advice from experts, prepared business forms and contracts, as well as special discount offers from companies in our network.

The Storefront- Although it is open to any business owner looking to bring more exposure to a particular product the storefront was created with independent inventors in mind. We understand that to sell a product your consumers must first know that it exists, especially if it is new. This section of the site showcases those products.

The Marketplace – This is our ecommerce section of the site that is exclusive to only business owners. This section will have a pay per click system for business owners with websites and a low cost commission fee in which we’ll take the order information for business owners without a website and forward it on.

Interviews- While we still go out and conduct interviews ourselves we also give business owners the opportunity to submit their own press releases about their founder or company. Our interviews may be a bit different to what you are use to seeing as we are just as likely to interviews the owners of a local mom and pop operation as we would the founder of a multi-million dollar company. We are trying our best to avoid simply focusing on financial success when determining who we interview and we show the “dark side” of entrepreneurship as well. For every success story there are two or three failure stories that go along with it.

Articles – You may not be considered one of the top industry experts but we respect the fact that you have been involved. Provide an informative advice article and leave some information for others to get in contact with you as well. This open exchange of information has already created future business partnerships that we’ve been made aware of and given some the knowledge they needed to get started or grow a business.

Networking – Believe it or not the entrepreneurial/ small business community is a very close knit group and there are many individuals willing to help if you only ask for it. However, we understand that some aren’t as open as we are when it comes to asking for help so we don’t mind doing it for you and connecting you with the right people. So don’t be afraid to ask us, if we are not able to answer your questions chances are we know someone who can or have something about it on the site. Or you may decide that you want to offer our subscribers a discount rate for your products or services. We will also have networking events in the future.

I’ve really just barely skimmed the surface of what the new site will be capable of (don’t want to spoil it too much for you). We’re only in phase one of many but as we’ve been told by many experts and others this site has the potential to change how people do business. That’s fine, Matt and I are more than happy to accept the challenge, but at this point we are just looking to provide as many resources as possible to make being in business simple and convenient. Look around because I’m sure that we have something that you will find interesting and if we don’t we will…eventually.
